Food for Heroes
The Lettermen of the USA Food For Heroes initiative is dedicated to providing meals, and grocery assistance to veterans and veteran families facing hardship across Central and Northeast Alabama.
At Lettermen of the USA, we believe that serving veterans extends beyond words—it requires action. Through Food For Heroes, we are committed to meeting immediate needs, restoring hope, and ensuring our veterans and their families have food on the table when they need it most.
A cornerstone of this effort is our annual Turkeys For Heroes event held each November. Volunteers come together to prepare, pack, and deliver complete Thanksgiving dinners to veterans and their families in need. Each meal includes a traditional holiday feast and serves as a reminder that our veterans are valued, appreciated, and never forgotten.
Through Food For Heroes, Lettermen of the USA works to:
Provide emergency meals and grocery assistance to veterans in crisis.
Distribute gift cards to help veterans purchase food and essential household items.
Deliver Thanksgiving meals through the annual Turkeys For Heroes program.
Support veteran families experiencing financial hardship.
Show gratitude and appreciation to those who have served our nation.
