Brian Cunningham Appointed as Executive Director of Lettermen of the USA 🇺🇸

We are excited to announce that Brian Cunningham, a former University of Alabama placekicker who led scoring for the Alabama Football team in 1997, author of “On the Shoulders of Giants,” and minister in South Mississippi, has been unanimously appointed as the new Executive Director of the Lettermen of the USA, effective, July 15, 2025, at 04:29 PM CDT.

Brian, who has been pivotal in our grant writing initiatives, brings a dynamic and youthful perspective to this leadership role at the age of 49. Supported by his wife Vicki and their children Oliver, Jacob, and Millie, his passion and inspiring life story, along with his dedication to service, will drive our mission to support veterans, disaster victims, and former athletes through impactful programs like Homes for Heroes, Shelter for Heroes, and Autographs for Heroes. Founded in 2011 following the Tuscaloosa tornadoes, the Lettermen of the USA will thrive under Brian’s leadership as we continue to make a difference.
