My best friend drapes clouds around His shoulders, a celestial robe spun from the breath of dawn.
"He wraps Himself in light as with a garment; He stretches out the heavens like a tent" (Psalm 104:2).
With scarred hands, He carries galaxies upon galaxies—hands forever marked by the ink of grace, bearing the wounds of a world that scorned Him. "See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands" (Isaiah 49:16).Yet He loved them still, His love breaking shackles and mending what most cannot. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

He walks on water, stilling the fiercest storms of the sea and the tempests that rage in broken hearts. "Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm" (Matthew 8:26).He gathers the weary, the lost, the hurting, and places them among the stars, where they gasp in awe at their radiant twinkle. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name" (Psalm 147:3-4).His home is a mansion with endless rooms, where His table is your table, laden with mercy and hope. "In My Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" (John 14:2).
He is infinite—without beginning or end—yet He slips into the smallest crevice of your spirit, changing everything. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Revelation 22:13).Sometimes, He wakes me at 3 o’clock in the morning, that sacred hour when the physical and spiritual worlds draw close, their boundaries whispering thin.I pray to Him then, asking for the Holy Spirit, and when He sends it, an incredible sensation floods me."If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" (Luke 11:13).From my toes to my shoulders, goosebumps ripple across my skin, my hair lifting as if charged with divine electricity, every inch of my being alive with His presence.
Some call Him a figment, a fleeting wisp of a sleepless mind. But I see His hand in the sunrise, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands" (Psalm 19:1),hear His pulse in the laughter of children, and feel His power in the shape of forgiveness when it’s the last thing you deserve."Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).He is mightier than a thousand armies, yet gentle as a whisper in the dark. "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17).
Oh, searching one, seeker of light and hope and all that is everlasting—He loves you more.I promise you, He always loves you more. "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness" (Jeremiah 31:3)
